Fallston Family Room & Kitchen Transformation
Our customers had lived in the home for several years, but were tired of the “builder’s beige” on all the walls. They were ready for a professional painting service. Cindy, our color consultant, worked with them to find the right colors to complement their décor yet provide some much needed pizzazz.
Before the colors were actually purchased, we requested that the customer apply some sample “Colors To Go” to the walls in each of the rooms before they made a final decision. This is a very common practice we recommend for our residential painting customers, especially when they are making such a bold change to their home.
The picture frame molding in the family room had already been installed before we arrived, but on the light beige walls with the off white trim, they were hardly noticeable, and the gorgeous wall of windows was lost in the room. An accent color was chosen which both complemented the area rug in the family room and the grain in the kitchen cabinetry. The same accent color in the family room was then applied to the wall in the kitchen.
